Trauma Sensitive

Clinical Supervisor

Julia Yearwood

PG Dip, B.ED, MBACP, RYT

I am a child and family therapist providing therapies for children, young people and their families.

My core modality is Psychodynamic, having a Post Graduate Diploma from the Tavistock Clinic in 2011; I also offer Mentalisation Based Treatments (Anna Freud Centre, 2016).

I offer youth counselling and family counselling, counselling and mental health consultations to educational establishments and children's homes, as well as clinical supervision to children's counsellors.

As a certified yoga teacher, I also offer Trauma Sensitive embodiment work (Trauma Centre's Trauma Sensitive Yoga workshop, 2023), for trauma survivors (CPTSD, DID, Dissociation...) who would benefit from body awareness work, through a relational experience of having a felt sense of self, in a safe way.

I provide an intercultural approach: mindful of the importance of race, culture, beliefs, values, attitudes, religion and language in our everyday experiences.
