Children, Teenagers and Adult Counselling
I am a qualified counsellor and member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and I work within their ethical framework and boundaries. I offer independent counselling to children, young people and adults.
There are several reasons why people seek counselling, you may be worried, anxious, overwhelmed, feel stuck and cannot move forward. Counselling is a place where you can work through and explore any issues that are causing you worry and anxiety. I can offer you a place to be heard and understood, without feeling judged or criticised. Counselling can be the first step towards change and a more positive future.
I have many years' experience counselling children and teenagers, as well as adults. I have been working in both primary and secondary schools, as well as in the local community, for several years and have extensive experience working with a wide range of complex issues. These include: depression, anxiety, panic disorders/attacks, low self esteem/confidence, loss and separation, self harm, work related stress and anger.
I appreciate that all obstacles can feel overwhelming at times. Please feel free to email or call me for a free short chat, to explore if this is the right time and place for you to begin the next chapter of your life. Everyone needs support at some time in their life, whichever age or stage they are at. Talking to someone who is impartial and non-judgemental can help you to discover different ways of looking at the situation.
