About me

I am a regional group co-ordinator of the British Acupuncture Council, and faculty member of The Acupuncture Academy, Leamington Spa. I follow rigorous guidelines of professional care, conduct and safety; and engage, very enthusiastically, in Continuing Professional Development!

When I first had acupuncture myself, I was amazed at its simplicity, and the speed with which I felt better.  I wanted to know more about this voodoo!  And so began my journey as a healer.  It’s an on-going journey; one that continues to inspire me, and brings me much joy.  I am humbled too, by the health journeys of my patients, as they come back into balance, and are able to live more rich and rewarding lives.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture is an integrative medicine, so whilst I have skills in treating physical ailments, I am also trained to look and treat underlying causes that come from your environment, or arise as a result of mental and emotional stressors.  Neck pain, for example, may result from a poor work station, a drafty window, sub-optimal nutrition, or stressors in family, relationship, or work life. I’ll take a thorough investigation of the causes of your pain, and if it’s a long standing condition, then as well as providing immediate pain relief, we can start to work on the other areas of your life – yes, acupuncture can treat stress, anxiety and depression!   We can explore using mindfulness practice and life/nutrition coaching IF that is something you would like.
