Touchline Physio

Touchline Physio provides Westerham/Sanderstead and the surrounding areas with scientifically proven Physiotherapy for a wide range of conditions. With many years experience in the NHS and private physiotherapy practice, we have successfully treated a multitude of musculo-skeletal conditions and sports injuries.

We also have a wealth of experience in work-related and postural/biomechanical problems for all age groups.

Some people will have recurrent problems while others may present with injuries that are more acute. At Touchline Physio, all patients undergo a thorough assessment prior to treatment, to identify the exact nature of the injury and what underlying factors could contribute to the pain. Treatment is based on accurate manipulation of the affected area to gain rapid pain relief. Retraining of muscles following an injury is essential, and we provide exercises aimed at restoring good posture to minimise the risk of re-occurrence; a good posture also helps you to achieve the look of a healthy and well-balanced body.

We also commonly use Acupuncture for pain relief and Pilates to restore strength and function.  All of the therapists at Touchline Physio strictly abide by the standards of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy to deliver a high standard of care.

April Harris  BSc Hons, MCSP, HPC reg

April graduated in 2005 from the University of Brighton. She went on to work in Canterbury, Sidcup and Bromley before setting up Touchline with fellow Physio Tara. April has worked in a variety of settings within the South East, from NHS Hospitals and Primary Care Trusts to Private Clinics and GP Surgeries. She specialises in spinal conditions, joint problems and chronic pain, using a hands on approach, often combined with Acupuncture, to relieve pain and restore function and mobility.

During her time as a Physio, April has lead spinal clinics, rehabilitation classes, hydrotherapy sessions and education seminars to name but a few, and regularly gives talks to GP's and medical staff about Physiotherapy.

April's personal interests include horse riding and skiing, but her main passion is Physiotherapy, and so she regularly attends clinics and seminars from lecturers around the globe to ensure that her treatment techniques and advice are as current as possible.
