What is Body Stress Release?
Body Stress Release, or BSR, is a unique complementary health technique which assists the body in restoring its in-built ability to heal and maintain itself.  It does not involve massage, manipulation, the use of any machines or medication.

In everyday life we are subjected to various kinds of stresses and when these accumulate to the point of overload, the body is unable to adapt to them and tension becomes stored in the physical structure.  This is termed body stress and can lead to back and neck pain, headaches, migraines, sciatic pain, stiffness, numbness or postural distortions as well as many other symptoms. 

Releasing Body Stress
With the person lying down and fully-clothed the practitioner carries out a series of pressure tests, activating the neuro-muscular reflexes of the body.  In this way the body is used as a bio-feedback mechanism and its responses indicate the exact sites of locked-in tension.  The practitioner then applies light but definite pressure in the precise directions indicated.

This enables the body to release body stress thereby restoring communication and its self-healing ability.
